Peter Park System

The challenge

Looking for an innovative system

With a new parking system, the city of Waidhofen an der Ybbs not only wanted to make parking more convenient and easier for citizens and visitors, but also to take a step towards digitization. That is why it equipped four parking areas with the digital, barrier-free Peter Park system in summer 2023.

Our solution

Convenient parking on the way to a smart city

Peter Park installed the new system in downtown Waidhofen an der Ybbs within a few days. The parking areas have been converted one after the other. Parking people no longer need a ticket; to pay, they simply enter their license plate at the vending machine or in the EasyPark app. The city now receives real-time data on the use of its land without having to install additional sensors. They can analyse the information and incorporate the findings gained from this into smart city planning.
