We were looking for a modern, user-friendly parking management system. The digital, barrier-free solution from Peter Park was chosen because it requires hardly any hardware on the parking areas and only entails low costs. The absence of tickets also saves paper and costs and avoids waste.

The challenge

Compulsory charges only in summer

In the municipality of Moos am Bodensee, users parked free of charge until 2025. However, maintaining and maintaining the parking areas caused costs for the municipality. In order to offset these costs, the municipality set out to find a modern parking system without barriers to manage six parking areas in the summer months. The Peter Park system was already known from the community of Bodman-Ludwigshafen on Lake Constance.

Our solution

Accounting for actual parking time

Based on the positive experiences in Bodman-Ludwigshafen, the municipality of Moos also opted for the Peter Park solution. An important requirement that the system meets is that parking people only have to pay for the actual parked duration: The system records the time of entry into the parking area and stores it together with the license plate. Shortly before departure, parking people enter their license plate at the vending machine and pay for their stay.
