“With the introduction of the new parking system, we are also introducing digitization and thus creating the basis for future sustainable usage concepts such as car sharing. In addition, the new technology is less susceptible to faults.”

The challenge

Heavy traffic during peak hours and annoying backlogs

With 18,000 square meters of retail space, daseinstein is the largest Munich shopping center within the Mittlere Ring. Health facilities and a fitness center complement the offerings. Backlogs in front of the barriers posed a challenge due to the proximity to the state capital's main traffic artery. There was also a need for simple administration of the various user groups.

Our solution

Enjoyable shopping experience from the entrance

In order to make the management of parking areas more efficient, the decision was made in favour of the barrier-free solution from Peter Park. A major advantage for the shopping center is the central administration of all user groups and conditions. Individual businesses in the shopping center are thus able to grant discounts and parking permits, which are registered via a tablet.
