Barrier-free parking at Leipzig University Hospital

Digital parking space management: Leipzig University Hospital has its parking spaces together with K+S parking service and digitized by technology provider Peter Park. More than 12,000 drivers per month are now parking with Peter Park technology. Automatic number plate recognition is used at entrances and exits. Data protection-compliant registration of vehicle license plates controls all parking processes.
When you enter the parking lot, a camera records the license plate and stores it together with the time. The camera only records the license plate, but not the vehicle occupants. The parking fee is paid before leaving the area. Visitors and patients can then leave the parking area — without a backlog at a barrier or annoying parking tickets.
Administrative dashboard and digital employee activation
Using the browser-based Peter Park dashboard, all integrated parking areas can be centrally administered and optimized by the operator. Viewing analyses (workload, payment rate) provides new insights and the identification of previously unused potential. By granting digital parking permits, employees and visitors can quickly and easily be stored as long-term or short-term parkers.
Ticketless payment
Peter Park has also set up a new parking machine: Here, users simply enter the license plate number to pay — an environmentally harmful paper ticket becomes obsolete. Payment is now also possible via EC & credit card and Apple Pay via NFC, among other things.
It's even easier with our partner PayByPhone. The parking app is integrated with Peter Park. Parking transactions can be paid conveniently via the app. Especially in times of Covid-19, a contactless and infection-free parking process through ticketless entry and exit and hygienic, cashless app payment offers a major advantage. The invoice is made shortly before departure based on the actual parking time — in line with the motto 'only pay what you use. '
