“We want to continue to improve our service for all visitors and passengers at Hannover Airport and offer a convenient and customer-friendly parking system. With Peter Park, we have a competent partner at our side who provides the entire digital parking system, from software to vending machines and scanners, without the need to increase parking fees through complex installations.”

Peter Park System

The challenge

Lack of flexibility

Before the introduction of the digital parking solution at the 570 parking spaces at the arrival and departure levels, parking people had to buy a ticket for their planned stay when they arrived at the parking areas. When parking time was extended, an additional trip to the vending machine was necessary. The tracking of parking violations resulted in personnel costs for the airport.

Our solution

Digital solution for greater usability

Since the introduction of Peter Park's digital parking space management system, parking people have paid the parking fee at the end of their stay at user-friendly pay machines or via app by entering their license plate number. The amount to be settled is limited to the actual length of stay parked. To automatically calculate parking time, scanners record the license plates of vehicles at entry and exit in accordance with data protection regulations.
