Peter Park was founded in 2019. The BMC has been supporting the company with the ArbaNova Family Foundation since 2020. With Reinhold Barlian as founder, who has built up and successfully managed numerous companies over decades, the roots are clearly in German SMEs.

Peter Park's growth story is based on this combination of entrepreneurial spirit and regionally based support. Since its founding, the company has developed continuously and in a long-term manner: from the start with individual parking spaces and a small office in the Munich-based start-up hub Werk 1 to the first major partners and gradual expansion into several European countries

The team has also grown in parallel with the company. Peter Park today employs over 200 people in a two-story office space in Munich — a development that has taken place step by step with the increasing number of customers and international expansion.

In addition to the ArbaNova Family Foundation, another strategic partner was added in 2025 for profitable growth: global growth investor Great Hill Partners. As a profitable and healthy growing company, Peter Park has specifically brought the investor on board to support the next phase of international expansion with additional expertise

The investor focuses on technology companies, particularly in the areas of digital infrastructure, enterprise software and healthcare. The partnership adds an international perspective to the existing investor structure and brings additional experience in building growing technology companies.

Together, the expansion into new markets, the further development of products and the expansion of the corporate structure will be driven forward — with the aim of sustainably strengthening Peter Park's long-term growth.

Peter Park today: Profitable and customer-focused

In total, growth capital amounts to over 100 million euros. The origins of this continue to lie in German SMEs through BMC and the ArbaNova Family Foundation, which is still a shareholder today. At the same time, the founding team continues to operationally manage the company.

Today, Peter Park, with over 200 employees, serves more than 600 customers and manages over 180,000 parking spaces. Municipal and private sector customers include Hannover Airport, Munich Tierpark Hellabrunn and the city of Worms.
