The challenge
Travelers can find Swiss brand products all year round in the shops at Raststätte Würenlos. However, the rest area is particularly known for its bridge restaurant across the A1, which bears the nickname “Fressbalken”. The shopping service area was looking for a user-friendly, digital and barrier-free parking management system. A central requirement was that payment should be possible both online and directly on site at the vending machine.
Our solution
The shopping service area opted for Peter Park's parking management system. When driving in and out, a scanner captures the vehicle's license plate and calculates the parking time. There is no need for a classic parking ticket made of paper or plastic, which saves costs and reduces waste. Payment is made simply by entering the control plate.
