How digital parking management saves Mr. Schröder's free time

Mr. Schröder's life is too short for barriers — and yours?
It's ringing again, Mr. Schröder's cellphone! It is Saturday evening and the hard-working parking manager has ordered his favorite dish from his favorite Asian restaurant. He worked hard all week and more than deserves this treat. The crispy duck not only smells fantastic, it also looks great! There is also a steaming mountain of Mie noodles with bean sprouts, carrots and onions: Everything is cooked to perfection! His mouth starts to water, he grabs... but it's not meant to be: His boss is on the phone, he has to go!

Mr. Schröder actually likes his job. But not right now. He manages several restricted parking areas and one of the fault-prone barrier systems has just ruined his weekend. They fail at any time of day or night. He then has to rush into the parking area and free locked up parking areas. Far too often, his boss pulls him out of the weekend, as he does today; his work-life balance suffers.

But Mr. Schröder is experienced. He knows all the tricks and has quickly repaired the barrier. At least the weekend for parking people has been saved, they have free travel again! But Saturday is over for Mr. Schröder. He needs to take a shower and change clothes first.
Mr. Schröder goes to the cinema
After losing Saturday, Mr. Schröder has gained new courage and a plan! He's going to the cinema today: It's Thursday evening and his favorite director's new film is on. He booked one of the best seats in the hall online in good time. He missed the annoying advertisement and the opening scenes, he had to quickly do a few small things for his boss. In return, he is now equipped with popcorn and a big cola on his way to his comfortable cinema chair. For the best view of the screen, he chose a place in the middle of the row. He now somewhat regrets that, because he has to squeeze past several other movie-goers to get there. He gets angry looks!

It's finally done. Now he's sitting comfortably, the movie is playing, finally closing time... or isn't it? His cell phone rings, in all the hustle and bustle he forgot to mute it! How unpleasant. Once again, the people sitting next to him look annoyed: “Shh!” , he hears from all sides. As fast as it goes with a cell phone that he has to frieze out of his pocket without dropping popcorn and cola, he answers the call simply so that it stops ringing! A mistake: It's his boss's turn, once again one of the barriers is broken. He has to go and squeeze his way past the person sitting next to him. A murmur walks through the hall while blocking the view of the screen on the way to the exit.
I don't think he can be seen in this movie theater anymore! And for what? By the time he arrives at the parking lot, the parkers have probably been waiting half an hour for a free journey — too long to say “thank you” in a friendly manner. He will also have to pick up a ruffle there. Once again, he thinks: “My life is too short for barriers!”
Mr. Schröder has a date
Today, defective barriers are not Mr. Schröder's problem. He has time off. And he has a date. After long phone calls and funny chats, he finally meets Valerie today! He is really looking forward to the evening, has dressed extra smartly and picked Valerie up at home. She's wearing an elegant dress and he thinks she's even prettier than in the photos they've exchanged. He can hardly believe his luck, because she is just as likeable as in chats and phone calls. She is definitely his dream woman! And so far, the evening has also been fantastic: A romantic candlelit dinner in a small restaurant, followed by a walk together under the stars, has brought him and Valerie closer together! Now he's driven her all the way to her front door. They look deep into each other's eyes, their faces are getting closer and closer, and the time has come: The first kiss! But then — how could it be otherwise — Mr. Schröder's cell phone rings. He goes for it out of habit, not even noticing the disappointment on Valerie's face: “Yes! Okay, I'm coming.” It is Mr. Schröder's boss again, as always, he has chosen the most inopportune moment to send Mr. Schröder to repair a defective barrier.

Instead of ending the lovely evening with Valerie, Mr. Schröder dutifully makes his way to the parking lot, repairs a barrier on his day off and may even risk the love of his life for his job!
“No!” , he thinks to himself: “It has to be more efficient.”

Mr. Schröder opts for a world without barriers
And this time he's doing something! Barrier-based parking space management systems have long been the means of choice in parking space management, he knows that. But Mr. Schröder wants to keep up with the times: A digital solution is needed! Because digitization — as everywhere in everyday life — is also becoming more and more common in parking space management. Why should Mr. Schröder continue to sacrifice his valuable free time when software, artificial intelligence and scanners can easily replace barriers?
It could look like this:
The hard-working parking manager says: “Life is too short for barriers and calls Peter Park!
