Digital parking at Messe Oberwart

The challenge
The free parking areas at Messe Burgenland in Oberwart were also used by visitors to surrounding institutions. As a result, fewer parking spaces were available for trade fair visitors and employees. The municipality of Oberwart was looking for an efficient parking management solution that would make parking areas easy to manage and thus make it less attractive for third-party parkers. The Peter Park system was chosen.
Our solution
With the digital, barrier-free parking management system, the municipality of Oberwart has been managing 520 parking spaces at the trade fair since May 2024. The parking spaces are seamlessly accessible; it is not necessary to stop at the entrance and exit. At the end of their stay, visitors pay for the duration of the parked period at user-friendly cash machines with simple menu navigation, via the Easypark parking app or online. There are various rates available for short and long-term parking.
