Parking without barriers in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis

Parking space management in Fiss and Ladis was carried out until 2023 with vending machines where parking people had to buy a ticket. A security company checked the parking tickets. The parking situation in the Tyrolean holiday region is complex — thanks to access roads to hotels and parking spaces assigned to partner companies. As a result, a barrier-based system was out of the question as a new parking management solution. Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis decided to introduce the barrier-free, digital Peter Park system in eight parking areas.

Visitors to the family-friendly mountain villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis now travel to their destination without barriers. Holidaymakers are already seeing the first signs pointing to digital parking space management in the valley. When many skiers and snowboarders arrive at the same time in the morning during the peak winter sports season, they park without backlogs and in an orderly manner. User-friendly vending machines with simple menu navigation on site are available for payment. Alternatively, visitors pay conveniently online.
