Modern technology makes parking barriers, paper tickets and parking discs superfluous.

Building on projects that have already been successfully implemented in 2020, the cooperation is now officially being rolled out. A new standard in parking is being made possible for both parking users and parking space operators.

While the parking experience is significantly more convenient for parking users, operators are able to realize increased revenue potential, as the example of Porz Hospital in Cologne makes clear: On the first day, 200 transactions were recorded via EasyPark. In the first 2 weeks, 65% of all transactions were processed via EasyPark, which accounted for over 60% of turnover.

The Peter Park system enables barrier-free entry and exit through automatic number plate recognition and, as a platform, offers links to various mobility services. By integrating EasyPark, the registered parking process can be paid for in the app, cashless and transparently. EasyPark is thus adding another partner to its portfolio of off-street access solutions and gives its users further options to park as conveniently as possible. The technical integration of the barrier-free access system and the digital payment system also enables additional features, such as the Automatic CameraPark, which offers parking users a fully automated parking experience: When entering a barrier-free Automatic CameraPark area, the parking process is automatically started in the EasyPark app without having to open the app. If the car leaves the area again, the parking process is automatically ended, payment is made in the background and an automatic message about the parking process is sent to users.

The combination of the Peter Park System and EasyPark is already being used in various areas, including hospitals, shopping centers and event centers throughout Germany. Over the next two years, EasyPark and Peter Park are planning intensive cooperation on numerous sites in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The cooperation is intended to promote the unconditional simplification of the parking and payment process for all end users and to proactively moderate and shape the topic with customers.
