The challenge
With 850 parking spaces, the car park of the Alpsee Bergwelt leisure company in Allgäu is heavily frequented by different user groups all year round, especially during peak hours in the morning and evening. The parking area was not managed before the introduction of the Peter Park system; visitors to the local recreation area and the region could park their vehicles there without restrictions.
Our solution
Thanks to the barrier-free system, visitors to the Alpsee mountains park seamlessly and stress-free, as the parking area can be entered and left again without stopping — this avoids backlogs and long waiting times. Cameras record the license plates of vehicles entering or leaving the area in accordance with GDPR, which automatically determines the parking time. Payment is made at vending machines in cash or by credit card, or via the Parkster app can.
