The challenge
The parking lot of the Edeka market on Messe-Allee in Leipzig was frequently used by foreign and night parkers. As a result, customers often could not find a free parking space and instead chose another shopping location, which led to a loss of sales. When looking for a parking space management system, the focus was on ensuring that the solution should not generate additional costs for supermarket staff.
Our solution
Peter Park's barrier-free parking system enables efficient management and control of parking areas without additional effort. When entering and leaving the Edeka car park, the customer's license plate is scanned in accordance with data protection regulations and deleted from the system when the maximum free parking period is met. If the maximum parking period is exceeded, an increased usage fee will be charged.
