Limited parking space for hardware store customers

The biggest challenge facing the OBI market in Bremerhaven was to provide its customers with sufficient parking spaces. Visitors to nearby events often occupied the parking spaces, which affected the number of visitors to the market and led to displeasure. The use of parking discs did not fulfill its purpose of keeping third-party parkers away.

Digital parking space monitoring makes it easy to determine the parking time. To do this, the system scans entry and exit license plates in accordance with data protection regulations. If parking people who are not customers of the OBI market exceed the maximum parking period of two hours, they will be asked to pay an increased usage fee.
