The challenge
The Hirschau in Munich is a popular destination for both tourists and Munich residents. Due to its advantageous location, the associated free parking lot was not only used by guests of the beer garden and restaurant, but also by visitors to the nearby English Garden. As a result, there was often a lack of free parking spaces for Hirschau guests. The operators of the catering establishments were looking for a solution that would reduce the attractiveness of the parking area for third-party parkers and introduced the Peter Park system.
Our solution
The use of the parking area is now chargeable. The digital, barrier-free solution offers visitors a convenient parking experience: When driving in and out, the vehicle's license plate is captured by a scanner and the parking time is calculated automatically. The user-friendly pay machines offer extensive payment options, and payments can also be made online. The fees depend on the actual parking time.
