The challenge
The NH Hotel Nürnberg City is located a stone's throw from the main train station and the famous old town of Nuremberg. Due to limited parking spaces in this area, guests are reliant on the hotel's own underground car park. In order to get into them, visitors have previously waited in front of barriers and had to be let in by hotel employees. Repairs and maintenance costs of the barrier system caused economic losses.
Our solution
The barrier-free parking system enables seamless entry and exit from the hotel's underground car park. The license plate of the vehicle is read with the help of a scanner when driving in and out; barrier systems are unnecessary. Hotel guests pay at reception by entering their license plate, visitors via the Easypark app, meaning that it is no longer necessary to pay at a vending machine. Automated parking management processes reduce effort and costs for hoteliers.
