A high volume of traffic before and after events in the town hall and games by the Fischtown penguins in the associated ice arena repeatedly caused tense situations on the parking areas of Bremerhaven Stadthallen GmbH. Another challenge was posed by wrong-way parkers, who occupied free spaces reserved for visitors to the events.

Relaxing challenging situations

Peter Park's digital parking solution replaces the parking ticket machines in the three parking areas of the town hall and ice arena; the camera-based system automatically determines the parking time and makes it unnecessary to draw a ticket. To make it easier to control the parking area, Bremerhaven Stadthallen-GmbH uses the system's automated tracking of wrong-way parkers.
