The 5 km long network of hiking and cycling trails and numerous sports and leisure activities attract many visitors to the 2.5 km long Unterbacher See in Düsseldorf during high season. Until May 2023, the parking areas on the waterfront were not managed by a professional parking system, which led to parking chaos and long queues, especially in high season.
Our solution
Peter Park's barrier-free parking management system offers visitors a seamless and convenient parking experience. The license plate is captured by scanners when you drive in and out, and the parking time is determined automatically. Bathers can pay with the Easy Park smartphone app before leaving the parking area; parking machines on site offer alternative payment options by entering the official license plate number. The detailed signs remind you to pay before leaving the area.
