The challenge
Varel-Dangast is a well-visited local recreation resort in northern Germany and a popular destination for holidaymakers and day visitors beyond the Frisian borders. Due to the high number of visitors, there is always an increase in traffic in the municipality and in the surrounding parking areas.
Our solution
At the three parking areas in Dangast, the license plates are automatically scanned when entering and leaving and the parking time is determined. Bathers therefore only have to pay for the time actually parked. Payment is easy at the vending machine, which offers alternative payment options, by entering the license plate number. After completing the payment process, the guest can leave the parking area comfortably and without stopping by vehicle without unnecessary waiting times at the exit.
